GURONSAN TEAM, 2 SPOTS HAVE OPENED FOR TODAY RACE SO WE EXPECT THAT YOU CAN BE PRESENT AT THE GRID LINE, FERNANDO & RAMATY

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are so close to the beginning of the second edition of the Nurburgring 24H Simulation Endurance. This is the “Last Call” for all the drivers to make sure you are completly aware of the specific rules of the event. Please rememeber besides this, we are looking forward to see you all on track performing a clean race, this is really important for the success of the event!

Ok, moving on, as you know, the event has 4 shifts, where one of the drivers will race on the 1st and 3rd shift and the team mate the 2nd and the 4th. You have to be aware of the following information:

You can only enter in the Lounge if you are about to Race in the shift. Please DO NOT enter the track, stay in the main menu and wait for the host to give you the order to get into the track.

Shift one:

Opening Time: 20h45

Host -> ColiMatrix77

Broadcast -> Sukury

The taboaamassa will be online on Justin TV and DrummerManiac at the Zwame’s blog to answer all the questions you might have during the event.

PLEASE NOTE: After the green light to start the race, the driver in the pole position will go and the second driver can only start 5 seconds after the first. The third drivers can ONLY start 10 seconds after the first (or 5 seconds after the second) and so on.  The last driver (12th position) will start at 60 seconds after the first. This is to avoid contact in the first corner and this time will be taken in consideration for the beginning of the second shift removed from your final end time of the first shift). IF YOU DO NOT RESPECT THIS START WE WILL SUM 60 SECONDS TO YOUR FINAL SHIFT TIME!

Shift two:
Opening Time: 21h50 (please DO NOT enter the track, stay in the main menu and wait for the host to give you the order to get into the pit). The grid will be ordered according with the results of the first shift.
Host -> taboaamassa
Broadcast -> ColiMatrix77

KOS_79 will be online on Justin TV and Sukury at the Zwame’s blog to answer all the questions you might have during the event.

Shift three:

The grid will be ordered according with the results of the second shift.

Opening Time: 23h05

Host -> ColiMatrix77

Broadcast -> Sukury

The taboaamassa will be online on Justin TV and Drummermaniac at the Zwame’s blog to answer all the questions you might have during the event.

Shift four:

The grid will be ordered according with the results of the third shift.

Opening Time: 00h20

Host -> taboaamassa

Broadcast -> ColiMatrix77

The KOS_79 will be online on Justin TV and Sukury at the Zwame’s blog to answer all the questions you might have during the event.

The maximum delay is 1 Lap plus 10seconds per position. Example if you finish a shift with 1 Lap and 38 seconds to the race leader, and the driver behind you with 1 Lap and 50 seconds, your team mate will start the race after the leader completed one lap and the following driver will go 10 seconds after you.

Another example:

Shift one

1. First place

2. 30seconds

3. 2 minutes

4. 1 Lap 50 seconds

5. 4 Laps

6. 8 Laps

(…)

Shift two:

1. Go at the start

2. 30 seconds

3. 2 minutes

4. 1 Lap (has to wait for the leader to complete one lap)

5. 10 seconds after the GO of the 4th driver

6. 10 seconds after the GO of the 5th driver

and so on till the 12th driver (10 seconds difference between drivers)

We hope you understand the rules and if have any question, any doubt PLEASE ASK! We are here to help and we need you to be aware and fully commited with all the event specifications.

SEE YA! GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!

  1. Hi,

    I guess the rules are relatively clear, but one thing: In the unfortunate case of being lapped by the race leader in one shift, when begining the next shift where should one “park” the car? In the right side of the track? The left side? If this is determined before the race it would be easier, so that the leader of the race knows he has to pass through the straight only on one of the sides, in order to advoid accidents with the parked car(s). What do you think?

    Another thing – how about if one of the drivers should get disconnected and “falls” out of the room? How will that team’s next shift start?
